Rings that do not scratchTungsten is four times heavier than steel and twice as hard. Due to this enormous hardness they are virtually impossible to scratch. This will make them stay beautiful and shiny long after you purchase them.
Tungsten is a little darker in colour than say sterling silver or stainless steel.
Things to be aware of about tungstenWhen you purchase a tungsten ring, you need to pay attention to two things. Some tungsten rings re made with cobalt that makes production much easier. It also means that those cobalt-laden rings will be prone to oxidization and discolouration. Be weary of sellers who cannot say for certain the cobalt content. All Trendhim tungsten rings do not contain any cobalt whatsoever.
Another thing you should be aware of is that some jewellery retailers sell tungsten rings that do not contain any carbon, which is the element that gives tungsten its enormous strength. All Trendhim tungsten rings do contain carbon.
All of our tungsten rings are also analysed for nickel content.
Maintaining a tungsten ringPeople prefer tungsten over say gold or silver because all you do is use a damp cloth to wipe your ring down and maintain its sheen.
Ring size guideFor every ring size we have in stock we provide the inner circumference in mm, the US and the UK size. For example, we’ll show ring size 62 / 10 / T ¹/₂, which means the ring has a circumference of 62mm, US ring size 10 and UK ring size T ¹/₂.
1. Use a thin string to go twice around your finger.
2. Put a line as shown.
3. Measure the distance between the lines on the string, this is your size in mm. If the result is 60 mm then your ring size is " 60/19 ".
