Leather strap was real thick leather
Very pleased with purchase but wish the strap were a little longer. Will probably stretch a bit with wear.
Poor quality- quick release pin fallen off after 10 mins of wearing! Now need another strap.
Unfortunately, it was too slim, so I returned it. Really good return policy that's easy to follow.

Recommendation for men with thicker wrists - measure the length of the strap + the length of your watch for safety - I put it on a smaller watch of another brand, and it fit perfectly to the last hole. I have nothing to complain about, quality product.
