Limits options for pendants, as those that fit best with this type of necklace (including Viking pendants) cannot be threaded over the clasp ring (hence only four stars)! Here, a magnetic clasp or twist clasp (with inside lock) would be appropriate. But of course, if you solely want to use the chain without, it's not a problem, just a bit more hassle to close and open. And then it is of course also a matter of taste.
