Unusual, eye catching and a great gift

This pocket watch makes an excellent gift. It has a very crisp visual showing hours, minutes and seconds. The second hand is shown on an inset dial. For some the watch might be a little small but for me I can see the time nicely. I am very pleased with it, but it is right for the price. More expensive pocket watches have the next level of quality or size.

My collection of pocket watches are all over a hundred years and need a bit of a rest after ticking for all that time, this watch makes a brilliant day to day replacement, accurate and smart on the end of a Victorian chain, in fact the only criticism and it's not much of one is that I'd prefer the case was solid not plated gold.

I've not had the watch long - but I love its size, its sleek looks and simple yet functional style. I am hoping that the colour does not "rub off" over time - yet to see that - but quite pleased with the product. The packaging was a bit poor - not quite the experience you expect with this type of product. Plus the outer box arrived damaged and split (no damage to the watch though). This part let down the experience in my view - hence 4 stars out of 5.

The chain (clasp) was already broken after a week. The watch is disappointing, the hands on the dark face are not clearly visible. Wrong version ordered.
