Monterey | Limited Edition Black Racing Watch

Start your engines and strap a classic racing watch to your wrist. This Monterey can time you and measure your speed. It’s designed from the ground up with driving in mind, and its tactile crown and buttons are easy to operate with gloves on.

This limited-edition men’s watch sports a black surgical-grade stainless steel case with a screwed-on caseback, earning it a water resistance rating of 10 ATM (100 metres). Make sure the crown is closed before you dive in, though.

Double-domed mineral glass with anti-reflective coating makes the watch instantly readable in any light, and high-grade glow-in-the-dark hands and indices ensure you can still tell the time in the late hours of Le Mans. The dial sports a 24-hour clock on a subdial at 3 and a discrete date window at 6.

Its reliable Seiko chronograph movement lets you time events up to 60 minutes (displayed on the subdial at 9 o’clock), and the tachymeter on the inside of the bezel gives you the speed if you know the distance for reference.

The genuine leather racing straps prevent sweaty wrists, and the three big holes on either side make them more elastic than standard straps, increasing comfort. They’re easy to swap out without special tools, thanks to quick-release bars. The buckle proudly carries the Fawler logo.
