Made of surgical-grade stainless steel, this men’s earring features a classic flat-edged hoop with a padlock suspended from it. Its copper-tone coating is scratch and tarnish resistant, and gives it a unique, coffee-flavoured shine.

PVD coating involves no liquid spillage of toxic chemicals, making it more environmentally friendly than the vast majority of available surface treatments. Instead, it involves superheating titanium nitride to its plasma state and binding it to the metal’s surface at the molecular level. Pretty fantastic, right?
