A little smaller than I thought and not really for a puck of shaving soap. Not to be deterred thpugh soon found use elsewhere within my shaving cabinet

The shaving soap did not fit in the bowl, I now have 2 bowls, they are as decoration on a table under a table lamp, they look very nice.

This is a tiny wooden bowl, far too small to mix shaving soap in. I think it is better to store paper clips in than to use when shaving.
