The string test
- Wrap a piece of dental floss or string around the part of your finger you want to measure.
- Make sure it's very tight. Most people order rings too large.
- Where the string overlaps, mark that spot with a pen.
- Measure the distance between the two marks in millimetres. This is the circumference of your finger and equivalent to your ring size (EU size).

Titanium is named after the Titans of ancient Greek myth and before you start thinking this ring must be as heavy as a lumbering giant, know that titanium is almost half the weight of steel. This men’s ring is corrosion resistant, light as a feather, and tough as… well, titanium.
Make sure to get your ring size right because this beast is very difficult to resize. And if it gets stuck on your finger… you might as well just leave it there. If you really want it off, your finger is going with it. Just kidding - removing it is actually pretty simple.
The black colour of the carbon fiber pattern is accomplished using physical vapour deposition, a process that involves superheating titanium nitride to its plasma state and shooting it at the ring’s surface inside a vacuum chamber. The result is a super-thin ceramic layer that’s scratch resistant and durable, and will not flake over time. The PVD process is also more environmentally friendly than other coating and plating methods.
